I thought my little rampage a couple week ago would work to get you guys away from freelancer and to CS or at least some other games. It didn't work and so I apoligize for hurting any feelings yadda yadda yadda... anyhow me and otto been pub hopping, as he calls it, and hell one match he owened the hell outta me till his 12 win then he didn't, I was the one who was owning :D... hope he wasn't going easy, but 1.6 is much different from source in how it handels. However with that said, fuck this bs, I call for more ppl's to start playing other games. I call for [LD] tags for CS and other games, Otto and everyone else is whereing MG tags, and god knows no one including me wants to see me whereing MG tags agian. So I say [LD] for Lansdale, start a clan off that all who are apart of lansdale start wearing them when in other games, CS is the shit, by july we will have bf2 and I'm getting a r520 or g70 when they come out so the game enemy territories: quake wars, and UT 2007 will be a blast. for so long the ppl on this server have worked against each other, I understand why, but lets move on and start working togeather; there is a whole life time of gaming just waiting for us.

Between the members and all, I'm pretty sure we can combine some spare boxes and run some decent game servers....

I'll have a quad core up soon to offer... This forum will be moving to a quad core as well.

I am planning on purchasing a artofwarcentral server next month. They have descent servers at a reasonable price.

maybe otto would like to comment on my work that he has seen already?

I am capable of designing a server with an admin plug in that is lag free, like a "clean" cal server or something, something with out admin plug-ins, yet they are there.

It takes a while to understand how the game works as far as lag and all, but it has been a 3 1/2 years ongoing project with me, i have figured it out.

The best thing to do is avoid unneccesarry calculations and writing to disk, so I do kind of "stripped down" work, but it works nicely.

well dog i agree with you to an extent, its just that there are some of us who LIKE space sims :P

oh and theres no way my stoned ass can keep up with the pace of CS or most other FPS's

i dont think the key is to get those of us still hanging around LDG to quit playing anything but rather to get new players here.

now, having said that i understand that to get new players here, we're not likely going to do it with FL. Fro's new mod may bring us new blood but not the levels we want or used to have.

if we're going to get new memebers to the community we need it to be for other games.

but which ones is the question.

With Quad Core.... So I can host whatever... Just waiting on what is needed..
